Dr. Anna Campbell is a distinguished scientist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in plant biotechnology and agribusiness. She earned her PhD in plant biotechnology and has dedicated her career to integrating scientific innovation with commercial applications to enhance human health and agricultural productivity.
In 2020, Dr. Campbell co-founded Zestt Wellness, a company focused on harnessing plant bioactives to develop health-promoting products. Her passion for the potential of plants in improving human health drives the company’s mission to create effective solutions that counteract the negative effects of pro-inflammatory lifestyles.
Prior to establishing Zestt Wellness, Dr. Campbell served as the Managing Director of AbacusBio Limited, where she led an international team working across more than 20 countries on food and agricultural programs. Her leadership at AbacusBio involved significant contributions to plant and animal genetics, as well as global food systems.
Dr. Campbell also holds directorships in various science-based businesses in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Her governance roles reflect her commitment to advancing scientific research and its practical applications in improving health and sustainability.
